Shinwa Co., Ltd. is a metalworking specialist with two business divisions consisting of the scaffolding equipment Division, which primarily manufactures and sells scaffolding equipment used at construction sites, and the Logistics Equipment Division, which manufactures and sells equipment used for storing/conveying goods at plants, warehouses, and construction sites.

In addition to know-how in metalworking gained over many years, we have three competitive advantages in the scaffolding equipment Division. They are:
- The “Shinwa brand,” which has a powerful influence in the scaffolding equipment market;
- Excellence in manufacturing, marketing, and sales expertise; and
- Reliable product quality made possible by domestic production and highly competitive manufacturing costs.

These advantages allow us to outperform our competitors by producing products that fetch a better price at a lower cost and distributing them in large quantities, which gives us the leading share (approx. 40%) in the wedge binding-type scaffolding market in Japan.

Shoring up this brilliant success is our Tsuchikura Plant, where a total of 136 welding robots are in operation at highly automated production lines spanning the approximately 40,000㎡ plant premises, one of the largest of its kind in Japan. The combination of economies of scale and efficient production earns us a high profit margin.
